Know Before You Go™

Realizing that communities look to their libraries for information, TG designed a campaign specifically for public libraries to assist their customers in finding resources for educational direction beyond high school. Know Before You Go has expanded to include school libraries to bring the information directly to customers free of charge. The campaign helps college-bound students and their families find information on such topics as:

Career planning — determining career goals and developing a career plan
College planning — preparing for college, standardized tests, finding the right school, when to apply
Financial aid — sources and types of financial aid and when and how to apply for financial aid
Money management — creating a budget, credit education, and responsible borrowing.

Over 400 public libraries and close to 300 school libraries participate in the campaign.
